The familiar interface displays actual data inside a list or library, and connects you to a file system, Outlook content and mapped disks to help easily migrate and manage the migration process.

Granular Migrations

With Migration Suite for SharePoint you can selectively migrate and copy documents, files, list items, mail items, folders, web parts, settings and more to SharePoint locations. You can also simply drag and drop selected files to the destination in the Navigation View.

Metadata Mapping

When migrating SharePoint content, Windows files or Exchange Public Folder data within Migration Suite for Sharepoint, you can tag and classify items and documents any time during the process:

  • Assign migrated items to a specific content type
  • Add metadata to items as they migrate
  • Retain or assign new metadata values
  • Reuse mapping rules across multiple migration

Advanced Migration Options

With the Advanced Options tab, you can specify how to handle copy conflicts, apply a filter to eliminate stale or unwanted data, remap SharePoint users, and re-template lists.
